DANCING DOLLS & WALKING STICKS ( E L)
Walking and laughter are great exercise for the heart.  Participants in this class will learn the use of simple hand tools and a couple very basic power tools to create a beautiful laminated walking stick that will make hiking and walking more enjoyable, as well as create a Dancing Doll (Appalachian toy/Rhythm instrument) that will lighten the heart of the maker and those who watch it being played.  Participants will turn “sweat equity” into “pride in mastering new skills” in creating two useful, beautiful and joyful projects.  All tools and materials provided.  Come build with Bill Henderson, Larry Hall & Charlie Fliger.

FREE-STYLE WEAVING (E T Y)
Explore the ancient art of weaving by creating your own masterpiece in a circle.  Class participants will have the opportunity to choose their own colors and design to create their off-loom weaving.  You may choose to make a tree of life, a mandala or any free-form weaving using a variety of yarns and fibers.  Karen Saker will guide you as you let your spirit flow into your own unique creation.  Materials cost of $15.00.
