Permanent Committee - Edith Richmond Dyke
Even though Edith Dyke is known as the Buckeye Quilting facilitator, her background is as varied as the patchwork quilts she loves.
After majoring in chemical Engineering at Westminster College, Edith married and had four children. As a stay-at-home Mom, she was a dressmaker and seamstress for 11 years and a 4-H advisor for 20+ years. She also spent many years working in the health care field.
In 1975, Edith and Jay LaFevre started Supercamp for 9-13 year old kids. It still thrives into the third generation.
Interested in many areas, Edith is a certified quilt judge, a certified laughter leader and a Real Colors Facilitator.
