Buckeye Leadership Workshop

John has his MS from The Ohio State University.  He was the 4-H Extension Agent/Educator in Marion County, Ohio for 32 years. During his tenure he served a two year term as the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents Board Policy Committee Chair.   He retired in 2003 with Emeriti status.  John was the director of a 5 day county 4-H Camp of 180 campers, 50 counselors, 15 adult staff volunteers for 32 years. He co-directed a 13 County 4-H Camp Ohio Counselors Workshop for 10 years, and was a 4-H Camp Ohio Board member 20+ years, president 6 years.  John has spent 28 years+ facilitating hundreds of youth, adult, and corporate groups on Team Challenge Adventure and High Ropes Experiences; 23 years+ Training hundreds of Team Challenge Adventure/High Ropes facilitators; constructed and maintained Initiatives and High Ropes courses at 4-H Camp Ohio and Japan Labo Camp.  He has served 37 years as BLW Trustee and has taught “Team Challenge Adventures” at Buckeye, Michigan, Black Hills, Hoosier, and Montana Recreation Leaders Workshops.
